"Welcome to Macintosh"
unlike my friend tanner i thought the movie was kind of long and mediocre. There were some interesting facts like how the computers have advanced through the centuries. The computers they originally made only had about 16k memory and 30mb ram for them it was the most amazing thing in the world but now its nothing compared to the computers today. on more than 1 occasion apple almost went out of business but they always managed to pull through inventing new computers and new technology. the documentary explains a lot of how the company was started and who started it (Steve Jobs)i found it interesting that when Steve jobs left the company struggled but when he came back the company thrived again.I think they spent too much time on (Wayne Bibbens) the guy they interviewed that collected way too many apple computers.I think they should have just showed a few of his computers and moved on. even though the document had lots of interesting facts i still would only give it a 3/5.

"hardcore movie nerds" review on "Welcome to macintosh"
I did not like this review very much. One thing I did not like was the grammatical errors, one part of the review was very hard to follow. This review is also really short and does not have very many facts on why they hate it. I think they just wrote something that was easy and short so that they could get done and talk and play around. They should give better example of why they hate this movie instead of "retarded movie that we sall in class"

"White Guys Cinema" review of "Welcome to Macintosh"
The review that Nick and Ryan did was very good. It hit most of the key points that the movie was about, and it was very interesting. It also did not give to much information out and did not ruin the movie, but it gave just enough information so that the reader could understand what they were talking about even without watching the movie. There was a lot of facts in their review and also gave their personal opinions on the movie.

"Welcome to Macintosh"
"Good artists copy, great artists steal"
The apple documentary "Welcome to Macintosh" was very intriguing, and insightful. This movie had a lot of interesting facts. One thing that I thought that was cool was that Microsoft gave Apple $150 million dollars to help keep Apple alive and not go bankrupt, they realized that if they wanted to be number one, they do not need to beat Microsoft, they just need to become really good. Steve Jobs, one of the first owners of the Apple company never intended to sell the computers, they were just going to give them away.
They eventually went to Minnesota and actually found someone that wanted to buy the computers. The first computers that were made was called "Apple II". Apple had many complications, but even with these complications they still overcame and turned out to be a very successful company. This documentary had many people that worked with the company, being interviewed and giving information about how apple has expanded over the centuries. This movie had a lot of funny parts as well that I liked. This one part of the movie, one of the designers of apple was saying "engineers are retards". I think this movie deserves a 3/5, although this movie did seem a little long and was kind of boring at times.

Dr. horrible's sing a long blog
"I'm going to introduce her to the hammer. And these are not the hammer..."
Josh and I watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. This movie stars Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Felicia day as Penny, Nathan Fillion as The Hammer, and Simon Helberg as Moist. the great acting of these actors made this movie one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The great thing about this movie is that it is only 45 minutes, as a person that does not like sitting still for a long time I find this very good. This movie is about Dr. horrible (Neil Harris) and his obssession in getting into the "Evil League of Evil" and trying to get the attention of his crush Penny (Felica Day). Unfortunately, his evil nemesis "The Hammer" (Nathan Fillion) complicates this by watching Dr. Horrible's blog and begins to date Penny. Dr. Horrible realizes that The Hammer is dating Penny and gets jealous, and tries to win penny back by killing "The Hammer". *SPOILER* Unfortunately this does not work and ends up killing Penny.
There was action, comedy, and suspense. We think that the singing was pretty good, they stayed on cue and made the movie really funny. The special effects were good too, in one part of the movie Dr. Horrible shot the freeze ray at Captain Hammer, the ray had good effects and made the ray look real. The acting was good, the actors seemed to know their parts, and they spoke clearly and easy to understand what they were singing or talking about. Overall this movie was good, we would recommend this movie to young adults around 13 or older.
"I think it was a pretty good movie, I'd recommend to almost everbody."

Whiteout
This movie was not all that great. The story line wasn't all that great, and the acting was a little bland, the main character seemed like she was reading a script the whole time. This movie kind of reminded me of a cheesy thriller from the 80's. It was sort of like Scooby-Doo acting. This movie was supposed to be a thriller but, Kate Beckinsale, the main character, had playfully bad acting, and the people around her were stripping and running through the ice, setting the movie into more of a comedy than a thriller. Another thing I did not like about "Whiteout" was that it did not have any really scary monster. The worst thing about this movie was during the fight scenes, you could not tell who is who and what going on. It is very unclear about what is actually happening in this movie and has a horrible story-line. I would probably give this movie a rating of 2/5.
